Independence - aka. "MOO"

Moo is by far our most famous pony, having taught many a child in San Diego to ride and even being the star of his own Facebook page. Moo was shown by Aydin Muzaini, Emma Dickson, Anna Maltby and Karina Vadja. Karina and Moo even capture both a Champion and Reserve Champion ribbons in the GSDHJA year end Championship show. Moo is available for both in house lease or sale. We want to keep him around though!

BellaDonna

BellaDonna is a savy old A-circuit Hunter mare who joined CEC as a school horse after retiring from her show career.

She is a favorite of our adults as her sweet and forgiving nature puts even the most nervous riders at ease.

Come out to meet BellaDonna at one of our Adult Women's B-Fast Meetings on alternate Thursdays! Enjoy refreshements, the company of a horse and maybe even a little trail ride!

Trustworthy aka. "Buddy"

Trustworthy is only parttime in the school as he is leased by three great girls, Jessica Sellend, Gabrielle Fisher and, most recently, has become the gift lease from Make-A-Wish Foundation to MaryKatherine Milburn! In the photo to the right MaryKatherine is on her shopping spree at Mary's Tack and Feed to get all her riding attire! Buddy was there to greet her as her special limo pulled up. CEC and the Mortiers are thrilled to team up with Make-A-Wish to offer this special girl a fun "Saddle Club" year!

Lance

Lance is a been there, done that GSDHJA show circuit pony who joined us as a school horse two years ago.

Lance is available for lease or to purchase.

His sweet disposition on the ground makes him very lovable as both a pet and a mount.

He is the perfect size to teach both kids and adults and he just LOVES to jump.

Beau

Beau is the youngster in the barn. He is a very calm paint/quarterhorse cross who is a great mount for advanced beginner to intermediate teenagers and adults. Kelly Joyner even showed him a bit last year and just loves him to death!

Haughty

Haughty has been with CEC for over ten years. She is getting set to become a nice trail pet for someone because NOTHING bothers her!

She is a Thoroughbred mare who wants nothing more that to please you!

I personally thinks she resembles betty boop with her expressions sometimes! Her favorite thing is to put her head in your lap and NEVER wants to be left alone.

Savannah

Savannah is the bestest pony EVER to learn to jump on! in one horse show her rider, by her own error, became unseated over the first of two fences. Savannah broke to the trot, made sure her rider was back in the saddle and then went on the jump the next jump without prompting. Good pony!!!

Her smooth gaits and forgiving nature makes her a favorite.

She teaches kids from the beginning of their riding career through to 2' jumping.

Fayme & Glory aka "Fey"

Fey has retired from her career as a gentleman's jumper to learn how to be a nice little hunter mare. Giana Rogers 1/2 leases Fey and then we use her in the school with our adults and teenagers.

She is very willing and sensitive, perfect for graduating beginner beginners through to intermediate riding.

Lollipop

Lollipop is one of our newest additions to the barn and became and instant favorite! SHE has the LONGEST mane EVER!

Marshmellow

Marshmellow is one of the newest additions to the barn. He's our smallest pony and is already becoming a favorite.
