Mark has been guiding riders through their show careers for over 30 years. His students have gone on to compete at the collegiate level, the national level, and have even become professions themselves.
He and his team know that one of the biggest rewards of all the hard work we put into our riding is the opportunity to compete. For this reason we are trying a new program this year where students in our riding academy will be given the opportunity to compete in a limited number of shows. This service is meant to give those that cannot afford to lease or own an opportunity to enter the show arena as well as those who are just not sure whether they are ready to take it to the next level. If riders participating in this program wish to continuing competing in further shows we will either find a lease or ownership opportunity with a mount for them to continue competing with. We do not rush our students into partnerships with horses and ponies but instead patiently find a suitable partner in personality and competitive ability.
We encourage all of our students to learn about watch the county shows because watching all the riders compete at the shows can help them understand and feel more comfortable with their own challenges as well as successes in the saddle.
